We have compiled an events calendar of some of the main events for your information below. ‘JANUARY AUSTRALIA DAY’
January the 26th Australia Day Celebrations in Noosaville are a day of fun in the sun.
MAY – NOOSA INTERNATIONAL FOOD AND WINE FESTIVAL
In autumn each year, more than 200 national and international food producers, chefs and winemakers descend on Noosa to join food lovers to dine, unwind and indulge in the good things in life. The event features delicious food trails to the beautiful Sunshine Coast Hinterland and Noosa’s own golden beach, not far from our Noosaville accommodation. Sample something new and delicious, pick up recipes and expert tips from celebrity chefs and meet like minded people from all over the world at this prestigious event each May.
JULY – NOOSA ALIVE FESTIVAL
Indulge in 10 magnificent days and nights of vibrant arts and culture in Noosa. Bask in the warm winter sun and savor the world-class entertainment featured at NOOSA alive!, an annual arts and cultural festival spanning ten days every July. This festival takes place in various venues throughout Noosa, presenting a diverse and captivating program encompassing music, theater, ballet, comedy, opera, literature, visual arts, cabaret, circus, burlesque, debates, environmental discussions, gourmet food and wine experiences, and much more.”
JULY – POMONA KING OF THE MOUNTAIN FESTIVAL & RACE
This fun filled festival, although only one day in length is a real family day with mostly free events.
NOOSA JAZZ FESTIVAL
This festival promises nine days filled with exceptional performances taking place in concert theaters, during enchanting river cruises at sunset, within the ambiance of restaurants and bars, and under the open sky at a picturesque riverside park.
Prepare for a one-of-a-kind congregation of both prominent Australian and internationally-based jazz virtuosos, converging to create a captivating feast of exhilarating, timeless jazz music.
‘OCTOBER NOOSA OPEN STUDIOS’
Immerse yourself in the vibrant Noosa art community by exploring the exclusive workshops and studios of 100 extraordinary local artists through the Noosa Open Studios Art Trail. This is Queensland’s largest open studios event, offering you a unique opportunity to connect with the talented creators behind the artwork. Discover painters, potters, ceramicists, sculptors, metalworkers, and a diverse array of artists as you traverse art trails spanning from coastal to countryside locations in the Noosa region. You can even acquire your favorite pieces and ignite your creative spirit through engaging art workshops and gallery visits, all conveniently accessible from Noosa!
NOOSA BEACH CLASSIC CAR SHOW
This special day for all car enthusiasts showcases a different make every year and has become known as one of the most prestigious ‘Classic Car Shows’ of the year in Australia.
OCTOBER / NOVEMBER – NOOSA TRI MULTI SPORT FESTIVAL
This is Australia’s longest running, biggest and best triathlon event and features five days of running, cycling and swimming races, heated competition and plenty of fun in the beautiful surrounds of the Sunshine Coast.
You’ll find a fantastic mix of sport and entertainment designed to suit all ages and abilities, including plenty of family and kid-friendly events. It all culminates with the triathlon itself at the end of the festival. Whether you plan to compete or simply cheer from the sidelines, this is a great time to book into our luxury accommodation.
HISTORIC NOOSA HILL CLIMB
This classic event is a combined event run by the Noosa Beach Classic Car Club and the Historic Racing Car Club (Qld).Now entering its 26th year of competition, the Noosa Hill Climb is one of the most exciting Hill Climbs in Australia. Held on 1.5 Km’s of cambered bitumen with a blend of 14 tight and moderately sweeping corners through the National Park.
The weekend is loaded with lots of thrills and spills and is sure to keep you entertained. There are many spectator areas, some with grandstand seating for you to catch the action, with catering provided and a shuttle bus to take you up the track so you can more easily access the best vantage points.
